great tool for publishing and
managing internal events that are
not for public view. Not only can it
be used for posting and informing
internal groups of upcoming events,
it can also be setup to serve as the
centralized calendar to help
facilitate your event planning
process. The Private Calendar
configurable workflow can enable
your organization to setup rules
that require internal approval of
resource groups required for the
event, prior to posting the event on
the Public Calendar.

Private Module:
- Easily and quickly configure
a unique Private Calendar design
look and feel with customized
headers, footers and display
options that allow your Private
Calendar to seamlessly blend
with your Portal, Extranet or
Intranet.
- Setup unique Categories and
Subcategories for the Private
Calendar (Food Services,
Security, Maintenance, etc.)
that are different from those
offered on the Public Calendar
and also elect to enable certain
Public Categories to also
display on the Private Calendar
for ease in viewing "All
Organization Events".
- Setup internal groups to
have their own Private Category
and allow them to use "Quick
Links" to setup direct access
and view of their own sub-set of
the master Private Calendar.
This helps your internal
resource groups to easily track
their own upcoming events and
those events that may require
their participation/services.
Customizable Workflow
- Setup workflow/user
privileges to allow only certain
administrative accounts to
enter, manage and approve the
Private Calendar events.
- Users with appropriate
privileges can then choose to
enter events once and select if
they should be posted on the
private calendar only or on both
the private and public calendar.
- If Private Categories are
"Locked" you can also setup
workflow that requires approval
by those Private Category Owners
prior to Public Calendar
Administrators releasing the
event live for promotion.
Syndication and Extending your
Private Calendar Information
- Syndicate important upcoming
private events on your
Extranet/Portal home page to
inform and remind internal
employees and staff and allow
them to either click the event
name to go to the details screen
or click on a "Calendar Quick
Link" to go to the full Private
Calendar.
- Setup various syndicated
private event feeds from your
extranet or portal in minutes so
that each internal group
(employees, staff, faculty,
management, etc.) can see a
customized upcoming event list
from their main page.
Data Sharing
- Setup imports of calendar
data from other solutions used
within your organization or on
your campus to easily feed
information so you have a
centralized resource for all
events!
- Easily download data from
Active Data Calendar and sort it
by Public or Private event
status so that event information
can be used as print outs and
data feeds into other
